Padma Awards: પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ ( Narendra Modi ) ભારતની જનતાને પ્રતિષ્ઠિત પદ્મ પુરસ્કારો માટે નામાંકન પ્રક્રિયામાં સક્રિયપણે ભાગ લેવા અપીલ કરી છે.
શ્રી મોદીએ સમાજમાં નોંધપાત્ર પ્રદાન કરનારા મૂળભૂત સ્તરના નાયકોને માન્યતા આપવાના મહત્વ પર ભાર મૂક્યો હતો. નામાંકન પ્રક્રિયાનાં ( Padma Awards Nomination ) પારદર્શક અને સહભાગી અભિગમ પર ભાર મૂકીને શ્રી મોદીએ અગાઉથી જ પ્રાપ્ત થયેલા નામાંકનોની સંખ્યા પર પ્રસન્નતા વ્યક્ત કરી હતી તથા વધારે લોકોને awards.gov.in સ્થિત સત્તાવાર પોર્ટલ મારફતે પ્રતિષ્ઠિત પદ્મ પુરસ્કાર માટે લાયક ઉમેદવારોને નોમિનેટ કરવા અપીલ કરી હતી.
Padma Awards: પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ એક્સ પોસ્ટમાં કહ્યું હતું કે;
પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ કહ્યું હતું કે, “છેલ્લાં એક દાયકામાં અમે પાયાનાં સ્તરનાં અસંખ્ય નાયકોનું #PeoplesPadma સન્માન કર્યું છે. પુરસ્કાર વિજેતાઓની જીવન યાત્રાએ અસંખ્ય લોકોને પ્રેરિત કર્યા છે. તેમના સમૃદ્ધ કાર્યમાં તેમની કઠોરતા અને દ્રઢતા સ્પષ્ટપણે દેખાય છે. આ વ્યવસ્થાને વધારે પારદર્શક અને સહભાગી બનાવવાની ભાવના સાથે અમારી સરકાર લોકોને વિવિધ પદ્મ પુરસ્કારો માટે અન્ય લોકોને નોમિનેટ કરવા આમંત્રણ આપી રહી છે. મને ખુશી છે કે ઘણા નામાંકનો આવ્યા છે. નોમિનેટ કરવાનો છેલ્લો દિવસ આ મહિનાની ૧૫ મી તારીખ છે. હું વધુને વધુ લોકોને પદ્મ પુરસ્કારો માટે પ્રેરણાદાયી હસ્તીઓને ( Inspirational personalities ) નામાંકિત કરવા વિનંતી કરું છું. તમે આવું ઓન-awards.gov.in કરી શકો છો.”
