Pappammal PM Modi: પ્રધાનમંત્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ પદ્મશ્રી પુરસ્કારથી સન્માનિત ઓર્ગેનિક ખેડૂત શ્રીમતી પપ્પામ્મલના નિધન પર ઊંડો શોક વ્યક્ત કર્યો છે. શ્રી મોદીએ કહ્યું કે તેમણે કૃષિમાં, ખાસ કરીને ઓર્ગેનિક ખેતીમાં પોતાની ઓળખ બનાવી છે. પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ વધુમાં કહ્યું કે, લોકો તેમની નમ્રતા અને દયાળુ સ્વભાવ માટે પ્રશંસા કરતા હતા.

“પપ્પમ્મલ જીના નિધનથી ખૂબ જ દુઃખ થયું. તેમણે કૃષિ, ખાસ કરીને ઓર્ગેનિક ખેતીમાં ( Organic farmer ) પોતાની એક છાપ ઉભી કરી. તેમની નમ્રતા અને દયાળુ સ્વભાવ માટે લોકો તેમની પ્રશંસા કરતા હતા. મારી ( Narendra Modi ) સંવેદનાઓ તેમના પરિવાર અને શુભચિંતકો સાથે છે. ઓમ શાંતિ.”
