Aamir Khan: બોલીવૂડ એક્ટર આમિર ખાન પોતાના અનોખા અને પ્રયોગાત્મક નિર્ણયોથી જાણીતા છે. તાજેતરમાં તેણે પોતાની ફિલ્મ ‘સિતારે ઝમીન પર’ ને યુટ્યુબ પર ‘પે પર વ્યુ’ મોડલથી રિલીઝ કરી, જેમાં દર્શકોને ફિલ્મ જોવા માટે 100 ચૂકવવા પડ્યા. આમિરે ખુલાસો કર્યો કે આ મોડલ દ્વારા તેને 20 ગણા વધુ બિઝનેસ મળ્યો છે, જે એક રેકોર્ડ માનવામાં આવે છે.

ઓટીટી ડીલને નકારી, યુટ્યુબ પર ‘પે પર વ્યુ’ મોડલ અપનાવ્યું
આમિરને ‘સિતારે ઝમીન પર’ માટે 125 કરોડની ઓટીટી ડીલ મળી રહી હતી, પણ તેણે તે નકારી દીધી. તેનું માનવું છે કે યુટ્યુબ ની પહોંચ વધુ છે – દરરોજ 50-60 કરોડ લોકો સુધી – જ્યારે ઓટીટી પ્લેટફોર્મ્સની પહોંચ મર્યાદિત છે. તેથી તેણે રિસ્ક લઈને યુટ્યુબ પર ‘પે પર વ્યુ’ મોડલ અપનાવ્યું.

આમિરના જણાવ્યા મુજબ, ‘પે પર વ્યુ’ મોડલ ફિલ્મ ઇન્ડસ્ટ્રી માટે નવો રસ્તો ખોલી શકે છે. UPI અને ઇન્ટરનેટના વિસ્તરણથી આ મોડલ હવે સરળ બન્યું છે. તે માને છે કે થિયેટર બિઝનેસને બચાવવા માટે ફિલ્મોને થિયેટરમાં પૂરતો સમય મળવો જોઈએ અને તરત ઓટીટી રિલીઝ થવી જોઈએ નહીં.આમિરને આ મોડલથી નફો તો થયો જ, સાથે સાથે તે ણે ઓટીટી ડીલ નકારીને ઇન્ડસ્ટ્રી માટે એક મજબૂત સંદેશ પણ આપ્યો. હવે તે ઓટીટી સ્ટ્રીમિંગ ડીલ માટે પણ તૈયાર છે, પણ યોગ્ય સમય પછી. હાલમાં તે ફિલ્મથી મળેલી કમાણીનો આનંદ માણી રહ્યો છે.
