મીડિયા રિપોર્ટ મુજબ અતુલ કેન્સર થી પીડિત હતા. તેમને એક મીડિયા હાઉસ ને આપેલા ઇન્ટરવ્યૂ દરમિયાન તેમની આ બીમારી વિશે ખુલાસો કર્યો હતો.અતુલ પોતાની પાછળ માતા, પત્ની અને એક પુત્રીને છોડી ગયા છે.
