મીડિયા ને આપેલા એક ઇન્ટરવ્યૂ માં ઈન્ટરવ્યુમાં દિલજીત દોસાંજ ના મિત્રએ દાવો કર્યો છે કે ‘દિલજીત ની પત્ની ભારતીય-અમેરિકન છે અને તેને એક પુત્ર પણ છે. દિલજીતની પત્ની અને પુત્ર અમેરિકામાં રહે છે. જ્યારે તેના માતા-પિતા લુધિયાણામાં રહે છે.’
