Karan Johar: 71મા નેશનલ ફિલ્મ એવોર્ડ્સમાં કરણ જોહર ની ફિલ્મ ‘રૉકી ઔર રાની કી પ્રેમ કહાની’ (Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani)ને બે અલગ અલગ કેટેગરીમાં એવોર્ડ મળ્યા છે. ફિલ્મને ‘બેસ્ટ પોપ્યુલર ફિલ્મ પ્રોવાઇડિંગ હોલસમ એન્ટરટેઇનમેન્ટ’ (Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment) અને ગીત ‘ઢીંઢોરા બાજે રે’ (Dhindhora Baje Re) માટે ‘બેસ્ટ કોરિયોગ્રાફી’ (Best Choreography)નો એવોર્ડ મળ્યો છે.

કરણ જોહરનો ભાવુક સંદેશ
કરણ જોહર એ ઇન્સ્ટાગ્રામ પર પોસ્ટ શેર કરીને જણાવ્યું કે “મારા દિલની નજીકની ફિલ્મ માટે નેશનલ એવોર્ડ મળવો એ ખૂબ જ ગૌરવની વાત છે.” તેણે જ્યુરી અને દર્શકોનો આભાર માન્યો. કરણે કોરિયોગ્રાફર વૈભવી મર્ચન્ટ ને પણ અભિનંદન પાઠવ્યા.આ ત્રીજી વાર છે જ્યારે કરણ જોહર ની ધર્મા પ્રોડક્શન ની ફિલ્મને નેશનલ એવોર્ડ મળ્યો છે. અગાઉ ‘બ્રહ્માસ્ત્ર’ અને ‘શેરશાહ’ ને પણ એવોર્ડ મળ્યા હતા. કરણે જણાવ્યું કે “આ સન્માન મને વધુ સારી ફિલ્મો બનાવવા માટે પ્રેરણા આપે છે.”

ફિલ્મ ‘રૉકી ઔર રાની કી પ્રેમ કહાની’ (Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani)માં રણવીર સિંહ અને આલિયા ભટ્ટ મુખ્ય ભૂમિકામાં હતા. સાથે જ શબાના આઝમી, ધર્મેન્દ્રઅને જયા બચ્ચનપણ મહત્વની ભૂમિકામાં જોવા મળ્યા હતા. ફિલ્મ બોક્સ ઓફિસ પર સફળ રહી હતી અને દર્શકોમાં લોકપ્રિયતા મેળવી હતી.
