મીડિયા રિપોર્ટ મુજબ પ્રખ્યાત પટકથા લેખક અબ્બાસ ટાયરવાલાએ એક ઇન્ટરવ્યૂ દરમિયાન ખુલાસો કર્યો કે “પઠાણ 2 પર કામ ચાલી રહ્યું છે. ફિલ્મની સ્ક્રિપ્ટ લગભગ પૂરી થઈ ગઈ છે અને હવે તેના ડાયલોગ્સ પર કામ કરવાનું બાકી છે.”
