Ajmer Sex Scandal:

• રાજસ્થાનના અજમેરના દેશના સૌથી મોટા સેક્સ સ્કેન્ડલ અને બ્લેકમેલ સ્કેન્ડલમાં કોર્ટે બાકીના 7 આરોપીઓમાંથી 6ને દોષી ઠેરવ્યા છે. 

• અજમેરની વિશેષ અદાલતે આ તમામને આજીવન કેદની સજા સંભળાવી છે.

• સાથે જ તમામ પર 5-5 લાખ રૂપિયાનો દંડ પણ ફટકારવામાં આવ્યો છે. POCSO વિશેષ અદાલત નંબર 2 એ આ નિર્ણય આપ્યો છે. 

• અગાઉ કોર્ટે તમામ 6 લોકોને દોષિત ઠેરવ્યા હતા.  9ને સજા ફટકારવામાં આવી છે. એક આરોપી અન્ય કેસમાં જેલમાં છે. એકે આપઘાત કર્યો છે અને એક હાલ ફરાર છે. 

• વર્ષ 1992માં 100થી વધુ કોલેજીયન યુવતીઓ પર સામૂહિક બળાત્કાર ગુજારવામાં આવ્યો હતો અને તેમના નગ્ન ફોટા ફેલાવવામાં આવ્યા હતા ત્યારે ખળભળાટ મચી ગયો હતો.
