Deepika Padukone: બોલીવૂડ અભિનેત્રી દીપિકા પાદુકોણ હવે ‘કલ્કી 2898 AD’ ની સીક્વલમાં જોવા નહીં મળે. મેકર્સે આ માહિતી વૈજયંતી મૂવીઝના અધિકૃત X (Twitter) એકાઉન્ટ પર આપી છે. પોસ્ટમાં લખાયું કે, “દીપિકા હવે કલ્કીના આગામી ભાગનો ભાગ નહીં હોય. લાંબા વિચાર વિમર્શ બાદ અમે અલગ થવાનો નિર્ણય લીધો છે. કલ્કી જેવી ફિલ્મ વધુ પ્રતિબદ્ધતા અને સમર્પણની હકદાર છે.”

‘કલ્કી’માં દીપિકા પાદુકોણ નું પાત્ર
2024માં રિલીઝ થયેલી ‘કલ્કી 2898 AD’માં દીપિકા પાદુકોણે સુમતિ નામની ગર્ભવતી મહિલાનું પાત્ર ભજવ્યું હતું. ફિલ્મમાં તેના પુત્રને કલ્કી અવતાર તરીકે દર્શાવવામાં આવ્યો હતો. દીપિકાના પાત્ર અને અભિનયને દર્શકો દ્વારા ખૂબ પસંદ કરવામાં આવ્યો હતો.દીપિકા અગાઉ સંદીપ રેડ્ડી વાંગાની ફિલ્મ ‘સ્પિરિટ’ માંથી પણ કામના કલાકો અને ફી મુદ્દે બહાર થઈ ગઈ હતી. ‘સ્પિરિટ’માં હવે તૃપ્તિ ડિમરીને લેવામાં આવી છે, જેણે ‘એનિમલ’માં પણ કામ કર્યું છે.
