- અગાઉ મનુ ભાકરે આ જ ઈવેન્ટની વિમેન્સ સિંગલ્સમાં બ્રોન્ઝ મેડલ જીત્યો હતો. આ સાથે તે આઝાદી બાદ એક ઓલિમ્પિકમાં બે મેડલ જીતનારી પ્રથમ ભારતીય બની ગઈ છે.
