લોકસભાએ ઐતિહાસિક વિકસિત ભારત - રોજગાર અને આજીવિકા ગેરંટી મિશન (ગ્રામીણ) (VB – G Ram G) બિલ, 2025 પસાર કર્યું છે. આ નવો કાયદો ૨૦ વર્ષ જૂના MGNREGA (2005) નું સ્થાન લેશે અને રોજગારીની ગેરંટી ૧૦૦ દિવસથી વધારીને ૧૨૫ દિવસ કરશે. વિપક્ષના સતત વિરોધ અને હોબાળા વચ્ચે આ બિલ પસાર કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. આ મિશનનો હેતુ વિકાસલક્ષી કાર્યો પર ભાર મૂકીને ૨૦૪૭ સુધીમાં ગ્રામીણ ભારતને સમૃદ્ધ અને આત્મનિર્ભર બનાવવાનો છે.

This new legislation is set to replace the MGNREGA (2005), increasing the statutory employment guarantee from 100 to 125 days per financial year.
